25 years of service recognised

The Library thanks Professor Michael Pender for his 25 years of service on the Herston Health Sciences Library Collection Development Committee. His contribution was celebrated at a recent event Vesalius' Fabrica of the Human Body - A Medical Milestone.

Professor Pender was invited to join the committee 25 years ago and in 1998 he was invited to become the Chairperson, a position he held for the past 18 years. The Committee is responsible for overseeing the selection of print works for the general collection, as well as works to be added to the Otto Hirschfeld Memorial Collection.
